Programme Details

The programme has the following objectives:-

  • To produce highly knowledgeable and skillful semi-professional graduates in the field of quantitative sciences integrated with computing, capable of applying suitable quantitative techniques and methods for doing research, analyses, forecasting and planning, and consequently able to make smart and accurate decision in and efficient industrial environment.
  • To produce semi-professional graduates who can fit themselves quickly into employment without prior retraining or minimal training in the latest current Information Technology development concept.
  • To prepare graduates to pursue higher level degree programmes in the field of Quantitative Sciences which are conducted in FTMSK or other institutes of higher learning or other related Bachelor of science degree programmes.
Entry Requirements


Passed SPM or its equivalent recognized by the Government of Malaysia with FIVE (5) credits including Bahasa Melayu.


1. Fulfill the UNIVERSITY GENERAL REQUIREMENTS with credits in the following subjects :-

  • Mathematics
  • Additional Mathematics
  • Physics / Chemistry / Biology / Additional Science / Science
  • a pass in English

2. Passed the Pre-Diploma in Science Programme (PD008) from UiTM
